Dunboy Point

$100.00

watercolor

7.5” x 14”

Painted from my home on Beara Peninsula looking out on Dunboy Point, home of the Ó Súilleabháin Bere (O’Sullivan Bere) clan. The sailboat is owned by a French couple in their 70’s who have been sailing to this harbour every summer for the last 40 years. They drop anchor by the point and go hiking along the beautiful Beara coastline. Long live!

This painting is a prayer for adventure and la joie de vivre. To bring life into stagnant places.
